I want some inputs on inventory Aging report . I read lots of documents for this topic but nothing matches to my requirement so posting here. I have to develop a Inventory Aging report in SAP BW , Aging has to be shown in 0-30 , 30-60 and so on buckets . I know how to create buckets in BEX used calender date offset , but my concern here is Aging logic.
My report has a breakdown on storage location , now when I create Aging buckets it's takes first receiving date of GR in that particular storage loaction and based on FIFO calculats the Aging and put the quantity in respective bucket .
Business wants me to create a report where Aging is calculated based on first GR date of any material in organisation , irrespective of intercompany or intracompany stock movements. We are currently not using Batch management in our organisation .
I just want to check with you , is there any alternative way to create Aging report like that. Basically I have below two points to consider:-
1. Report should have breakdown until Storage Location
2. Aging buckets should be calculated based on first GR date in Organisation based on FIFO, irrespective of Stock movement from one company to another of one plant to another.
Note : I am using BW 7.3 version
