Dear Community,

 

We, the Cloud Product Support team, are currently working on an initiative to provide you, our partners, with a comprehensive one stop shop for resources and information sources that you can use for your learning, training, and implementation needs.

 

The aim is to centralize the available content that is already out there for you and also help you by creating Knowledge Articles that cover the most common support issues encountered during implementations and Go-live.

      This is a collection of the most useful SuccessFactors resources: (360+) documents, blogs, reports, and videos. This includes links that will cover an introduction to SuccessFactors, the acquisition by SAP, SAP's strategy, the SuccessFactors HCM suite, integration, and other related documents and resources. It is also recommended to join the SAP and SuccessFactors group on LinkedIn or on Google Plus, as this is the leading community for the latest and greatest information on SuccessFactors
    • Service Marketplace: SAP Best Practices & SAP Rapid Deployment Solutions
      Rapid-deployment solutions describe best business practices and best implementation practices for a wide range of SAP software. They are published as packages with assets covering solution design and configuration and, if applicable, configuration templates that you can use in your system.

    • SAP DemoStore
      The demo store is a tool that allows you to find and play demos that relate to a specific topic / module. An SAP login is required.
      • Use keywords to search for demos that relate to the product you are interested in.For example you can search for “SF” or “SuccessFactors”
      • Once you have a demo that suits your search, you can click the link to go into the demo specific section.
      • Once you have launched the demo playback you will be able to choose whether to have it play in one of the following modes:
        Automatic: The tool will play the demo back automatically
        Guided: The tool will ask you to perform the actions to progress through the demo, with prompts to help you.

        Free presentation: The tool will let you perform all clicks without providing any assistance prompts

        • Solution Architecture Handbooks:
          These extensive Level 1 – 3 Handbooks describe the SAP SuccessFactors Solution Architecture covering platform, data, application and process integration points across all platforms and applications within the SAP SuccessFactors Suite, other SAP products and 3rd party partner integrations.
        • Features and Capabilities information:
          You will be able to find information in relation to each module. The information provided is varied. For example depending on the module you could have Solution Briefs, Videos, Statements of Direction, Pitch Decks, Best Practices, Whitepapers, FAQ documents, etc..

  • Community:
    • Sap Community Network. Just in case you didn't find this page via the SCN community directly, click here to access the AP ERP Human Capital Management (SAP ERP HCM) community on the SCN, where you will find more about the SAP SuccessFactors related products.

 

        • Successfactors community. You will need to register to join.
          1. Click on the link to Register.

          2. Complete the Registration Form:

            • Enter the required registration fields, including business email address, your password, company name, country and industry.

            • Check the box to accept the terms of service and click Register at the bottom of the page.

          3. View the verification code which was sent to your business email address in an email titled Your SuccessFactors Application Account Verification Code. If you don’t receive the email please check your junk mail.

          4. Enter the verification code into the pop up window.

          5. If successful, you will be sent your community username which you can use along with the password you set previously to log into the Customer Community!

  • Availability, and Outage Communications:
    • Service status dashboard:
      This page is used to monitor SuccessFactors Datacenter availability. This show the current status real time but also provide the service history for each datacenter. When the service is interrupted on a datacenter, a detailed explanation on the Incident and issue should be available, showing by database or Product or specific service like SFTP
    • Outage notifications:
      If you wish to have an S-User setup to receive outage notifications this can be done by your customer's cloud admin.

      The SAP ONE Support Launchpad is an integrated, customizable single access point to support tools and applications.

      Key benefits:

      A single entry point and consistent experience for support in administering all SAP solutions

      A personalized tile-based user interface, displaying applications, real-time key performance indicators, and actions specific to each user

      Improved search functionality for easier access to support resources

      • Administration section:

        Partner Consultants can leverage many resources and templates from the SAP-SuccessFactors team. This page includes two key document libraries for Consultants.

        1. Project Dashboard - The project dashboard comprises an audit of individual customer project implementation status. This is assembled from a log of all Partner requests through the Partner Portal including Provisioning Requests, Customer Access Requests, Data Center Environment Requests, etc. It also includes any entries by the Partner of individual project health and status

        2. System Admin - This site is designed to provide quick utilities for administration of the Partner Portal. Currently only roll-ups of the operations lists have been created but more roll-ups of other lists and libraries can be added here

    • Enterprise support portal
      • Welcome to SuccessFactors pack
      • Support Services
        This page shows support services delivered by SAP Active Global Support. For each service, the table gives a short description and information on how to obtain this service. As an alternative to ordering via the SAP store, you may also contact your local CIC
      • Cloud Value Map (JAM Group - subscription may be required)
        The Cloud Value Map for SuccessFactors was designed to support our customers throughout the entire lifecycle from planning your Cloud Solution through to go-live and continued operation and optimization. To do this we have created service assets including Meet The Expert sessions, Continuous Quality Check services (CQC services) and Best Practice documents to deliver on our mission to our customers.
