Country code added automatically to phone number when replicating contacts from SAP ERP

Hello experts,

We have set up account and contact replication from SAP ERP. Now in C4C, when the phone number of a contact is maintained, the country code is prepended automatically based on the country in the business address derived from the account. In SAP ERP, the phone number is already maintained with the country code. However, C4C does not recognize this and add it once more, e.g. +1 555 999 1234 (incorreclty) becomes +1 155 955 91234.

Is there a way to turn off this behaviour?
