SID generation not happening when adding compounding Char

Dear BW experts,

We would like to add a compounding char to a SID enabled InfoProvider.

However the proper SID values are not being updated in the InfoProvider, after adding the compounding char, and activating/remodeling the InfoProvider.

We do not want to reload our InfoProvider, and we prefer not to use a remodeling rule with ABAP coding.

Are there any other ways for fixing this up? e.g. is there a program/FM we can run to generate the SIDs in the InfoProvider?
